The Day After

When the smoke of Christmas cleared…. What… You didn’t have smoke at your Christmas?
As I was saying… When the smoke of Christmas cleared, a video emerged revealing the true nature of southern dwellers. Enjoy!

Wow! This made me miss Missouir already. One of the first guns I remember shooting was a .357 (after BB guns, of course). Good job on the video - I like it!

Ahh! Now were talkin! That looked like a blast. To bad those propane cans were empty…on second thought, maybe it’s a good thing!

Actually, when we first shot at them, we assumed they were NOT empty, but instead would blow up. But after firing at them from about 100 yards away and getting nothing, my brothers vented their frustration upon the empty tanks, resulting in… well… another day in the life of an Alabamian. Everything in the video was shot on my cell phone.
Oh, and that shot that hit dead-center of the clay from 100+ yards was real. I went on to shoot at some “close range handgun” targets from distances of 100-150 yards and further with groups of just over 2 inches, including two bulls eyes, which is impressive considering the bulls eye on those targets is the size of a dime. 165 grain shells. Scoped for 200 yards. Remington 30-06. Free standing or crouched positions.

Ah… firing guns the day after Christmas… isn’t it a grand Christmas tradition.
I must admit though, I rather hoped for a huge explosion!
Dissappointing…
